“ Amazing service, food, drinks, and ambiance. Had the best brunch menu! Can't wait to come back! ”
“ This is my FAVORITE restaurant in Detroit. My husband and I have tried numerous dishes here! We always get the spinach dip, and one of us always gets a steak- the sauces with the steaks are so flavorful. I love that this is a rotating menu with elevated but recognizable items. Their staff is friendly, and location is great! ”
“ Happy hour heaven! Drinks were very tasty. Several choices of appetizers. The bar tender was friendly and made sure everything was in under happy hour time (6). The setting is comfortable, somewhat modern but not cramped. ”
“ Our first time dining at Hamiltons did not disappoint. We attended the Christmas Brunch with Santa. The food was delicious! The waffle and omelette stations were my favorite. The waffle was so delicious; I added warm syrup, house made whipped topping and raspberry compote. Omggg the best waffle I've had in a long time. My egg white omelette with veggies was divine. Cooked perfectly. They also had an oatmeal station, parfaits and then meat, potatoes, sour dough toast and pastries were brought to your table family style. Oh and don't forget the hot coco bar service. While the idea was good, the hot coco was watered down. Not the strong chocolate flavor you love and expect. My son loved the potato's! The ambiance was nice; tastefully decorated for the holidays. The service was good our server was nice. ”
“ Hamilton's is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, the food is excellent, and the service is good. I was there with a large group for a holiday dinner, and we all enjoyed ourselves and the food. A standout was the short rib, which is one of the best pieces of meat I've eaten in recent memory. ”
“ If potatoes are on the menu, I'm ordering them!!!! These breakfast potatoes didn't disappoint. Crunchy exterior, well seasoned and fluffy interior. The eggs Benedict wasn't the best I've had, but not terrible. Bacon was cooked to perfection. An Irish coffee is never a bad idea....I was quite happy!!!! Beautiful decor, really nice staff, windows facing Michigan Ave so great for people watching. ”
“ Great food, beautiful setting, esthetically charming. Our team stayed at the hotel adjacent to this restaurant and came here every day whether for coffee in the morning or dessert at night, with a couple of dinners in between. Everything we ordered was tasty and presented beautifully. They have a classy establishment here and a menu full of things everyone will enjoy. The desserts were even made in house and were unique, using local ingredients like Michigan cherries (tart and delicious!) ”
“ Customer Service: great food and drink recommendations. Ambiance: classic modern and clean. Loved! Food: Solid food and drinks. The portions are in the smaller side. My friend got the Denver Steak and loved it. I ordered salmon, carrots, and mash potatoes. It was amazing! Everything cooked to perfection. Must try the everything butter milk biscuits if nothing else!!!! ”
“ Restaurant and history lesson for the win! I love a great hotel restaurant, especially when it takes breakfast seriously. I indulged in their house cured salmon on a crispy potato pancake, completed with herbed schmear and fresh herbs. Gluten-free, an appreciated change up from the ordinary bagel and lox. Located in the heart of historic Corktown, within the Godfrey Hotel Detroit, Hamilton's name pays tribute to the founder of Carhartt Clothing, Hamilton Carhartt. I never knew Carhartt was born in Detroit. Fun facts always! ”
